Off To Neverland — A Playlist For Never Growing Up

I've been feeling more nostalgic than usual for childhood lately.

I think maybe it's the weather. When it starts getting warmer, I always think of some of the most fun times from when I was growing up; running around outside with our puppies, playing pretend with friends for hours, rolling down tall hills over and over until we were dizzy, riding bikes in Summer until it got dark out.

I've also been really into Lights lately. Her songwriting is so poignant, and she's written a couple songs that really fit this sentimental mood I've been in, so I decided to make a playlist, because what else does one do when they're in a mood?

Second star to the right, and straight on 'til morning.

    OH MY GOD?!??!?! You like Lights?! She is my favoriteeeeee musician ever. I LOVE The Listening and Little Machines and Siberia..aghh her albums are soo fabulous. I like Sleeping With Sirens too I've seen both Lights and them in concert!! These songs make me feel really nostalgic too....especially with my college graduation coming up, I've felt more nostalgic than ever lately. This playlist came in the nick of time for me!

      Hahah yeah! I'd been hearing about her for awhile, just never really gave her a listen until recently and I really, really like her! I haven't heard toooo much of her stuff yet, only a few songs from each album, but I'm working my way through it! And really?! Ahh they're both so great. I kinda feel like Lights & Kellin Quinn's voices are what eachother's voices would sound like if they switched genders... If that makes sense??? Hehe I'm glad you like!! x

    This is such an amazing playlist! I love the title as well, it's so fitting for this playlist :) I was so happy when I saw The Strays by Sleeping With Sirens on here, it's such an incredible song!

    "No Scrubs" comes to mind or "Say my Name." Reminds me of car pools with other kids going to an after school program. And of course, all Disney songs take me back to childhood. I went to a wedding the other day and some of their playlist was Disney love songs. It had me feeling all nostalgic.
